The Jacquez Perez family envisions the heritage of Refugio “Don Cuco” Perez and Chihuahua, Mexico immortalized through a world wide, socially acceptable use of our prestigious sotol.

The granddaughter of Refugio “Don Cuco”, Lillian Jacquez-Perez founded the business on the 16^th of July 1991.  The business received its basic permit to import Sotol Generaciones from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) on the 1^st of November 1991.  The idea to create a manufacturing representative firm evolved from the family business in Mexico that distills and bottles sotol.

Sotol Chihuahua imports and sells various types of sotol made from the agavacea plant.  This sotol is a distilled spirit manufactured fro drinkers who like tequila and other similar liquors.

Sotol Chihuahua buys its sotol from Compania Elaboradora Del Sereque, S.A. de C.V., located in Janos Chihuahua.  Celso Jacquez Perez, brother of Lillian Jacquez-Perez, and the grandson of “Don Cuco” Perez lead the corporation.

Based on the rich family history and folklore of Sotol Generaciones, this international enterprise is dedicated to the production, marketing and delivery of the finest, purest, sotol “white spirit” products through innovative products, packaging, pricing, promotion and distribution of its natural ingredients and a wide variety of socially responsive uses.  We plan to satisfy the burgeoning US Hispanic markets other US markets and Mexico.  Future international markets include Canada, Japan, Europe and Latin America.

Sotol Chihuahua, the international manufacturers agent in El Paso, Texas, is the only legal entity representing Compania Elaboradora Del Sereque, located in Janos, Chihuahua, Mexico.  Compania Elaboradora Del Sereque was the first company to legalize production of sotol in Mexico and Sotol Chihuahua the first to introduce the name “Sotol” in the U.S.A.

We know the great potential our Sotol, a Hispanic product, has in our U.S. market.  We want the image of our Sotol to reflect the generations old tradition instilled in its presentation, flavor and aroma.
